Welcome to Barred Owl Pottery

I am a potter who works in NY's Hudson Highlands. I have been working on the potter's wheel since the early 1990's and it is one of the greatest joys of my life. I enjoy creating handmade unique items and often use my work to push the boundaries of what a vessel is. This is often seen by my carving and cutting into bowls, cups, and other forms. I am influenced by the beautiful mountains that I live on and many of my pieces will have textures, carvings, and patterns that speak to nature. Thank you for looking at my work.
